Handcrafted Purpleheart Fountain Pen

Discover the distinctive beauty of purpleheart in this individually handcrafted fountain pen from Fox & Moon Woodworks. Featuring the rich violet tones and elegant grain of purpleheart, accented by carefully arranged maple and sapele segments and classic gold-finished hardware, this writing instrument brings together natural beauty and precise craftsmanship.

Celebrated for its remarkable natural coloration, purpleheart offers a striking expression of individuality among fine hardwoods. The pale, creamy tones of maple and the warm reddish-brown character of sapele introduce a carefully balanced geometric pattern along the cap, creating an elegant contrast with the flowing grain of the purpleheart barrel. Each component is thoughtfully selected, joined, turned, and finished to highlight the beauty of the materials and the precision of the segmented construction.

Combining the expressive, flowing character of a fountain pen with the warmth and individuality of fine hardwoods, this instrument invites you to slow down and appreciate the pleasure of writing by hand. Equally suited to personal correspondence, a thoughtfully appointed writing desk, or a meaningful gift, it is crafted to be both admired and enjoyed.
